For the last 20 years, Camp Nejeda has been my home away from home. I’ve lived nearly every role I could here—camper, counselor, Unit Leader, and now Health Center Coordinator. I’ve experienced and seen firsthand how just a few weeks at camp can change everything for a child with Type 1 Diabetes—turning fear into confidence, strangers into lifelong friends, and challenges into unforgettable memories. Camp is truly one of the only places where us T1Ds can understand each other without having to explain what every beep and number means.
By sharing or donating to my page, you will be contributing to camperships, maintaining and upgrading the campus, and supporting our programs.
